Description: Michael Canute Lambert holds the rank of professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work. He completed his doctorate in clinical child and general psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Lambert also received his master’s degree in clinical psychology from UNC, and a master’s degree in social work from Bryn Mawr College. His research interests include adjustment in children, youth, adults and families cross-nationally as well as appropriate measurement of function within and across such groups. He has taught numerous courses in the School of Social Work including planning for social work interventions; trauma and violence; brief therapy, as well as human development and behavior in social context. Dr. Lambert is also a senior clinical psychologist at 3-C Family Services (3CFS), where he specializes in treatment of trauma in children, adolescents, and adults. At 3CFS he also practices as a general practitioner, providing individual, couple, and family therapy.
