Justin Parker, PhD.
Clinical Director
Dr. Justin Parker earned his MS and PhD in school psychology from NC State University. He joined 3-C in 2006, and became clinical director in 2016. Dr. Parker works primarily with children and adolescents in areas of anxiety, depression, autism, low motivation, and oppositionality. He also works with young adults as they transition to adulthood, and parents as they navigate the many stressors that parenthood can bring. He focusses on establishing a strong therapeutic bond with his clients to help identify direct, achievable objectives and work toward meaningful attainment of the goals set together as a team. Dr Parker's engaging, dynamic approach to therapy is appealing to those who have never been in therapy before and those who haven't experienced the success they have wanted with it in the past. He is an avid sports fan, loves playing video games, and a father of twins.

Dr. Parker has also served as a Research Associate with 3-C Family Services’ sister company, 3-C Institute, since 2006. His primary research interests are aimed at examining the academic achievement of public school students, the prevention of behavior and social difficulties in childhood and adolescence, and interventions aimed at re-mediating children who currently have behavioral or social difficulties. Dr. Parker has helped develop and evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions for children and families, many of which are now being used across the United States in both school systems and in private clinic settings.
