Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy refers to the treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disturbances and disorders using psychological methods. Psychotherapy involves a variety of techniques to help people solve problems, achieve goals, change behavior, and manage their lives. Depending on the needs of the patient, psychotherapy may be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies and treatment methods; this combined treatment can often yield optimal results.

We offer one-on-one therapy between you or your child and a licensed therapist focused on the specific needs you have identified. Sessions are 45 to 50 minutes and often include five to 10 minutes of briefing with the parents and 35 to 45 minutes with the child. For adult individual therapy, the session is typically spent entirely between you and the therapist.
