3-C Family Services 2017 Summer Internship Program

3-C Family Services, a private clinic located in Cary, NC, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children, adults and families with mental health and developmental issues, is pleased to offer a summer internship to a rising Junior or Senior college student majoring in Psychology.

The Internship will extend from May 15, 2017 until August 1, 2017, and require the intern to be in clinic from 8 AM until 6 PM Monday through Thursday.

We are pleased to offer a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the internship. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer additional transportation or living expenses.

Completion of CITI Training by the start of the internship is required.


The intern will be asked to provide assistance to our clinicians, and to assist with IT or administrative duties. Typical tasks include literature searches, assisting with group psychotherapy under the direction of a clinician, working with medical records under the direction of the IT or office manager, and data entry for research or other projects underway at 3-C.

3-C Family Services Therapist Openings

3-C Family Services is a well-established and growing multidisciplinary group practice located in Cary, NC. We are currently seeking candidates to join the clinical practice who are interested in serving children, adolescents, and/or adults through one or more of the following therapeutic models:

  • Individual therapy;
  • Group therapy;
  • Marital therapy; and/or
  • Family

Degree Requirements

  • Terminal degree for your mental health specialty, including PhD, PsyD, EdD, or LCSW
  • Licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina (either as full or provisional under the supervision of a fully licensed equivalent professional)
  • Licensure as a Health Service Provider required for psychologists

Employment Type

  • Full-time preferred
  • Part-time possible


  • 3-5 years clinical experience preferred
  • Recent graduates will be considered
